Like all used cars, there can be concerns about reliability. Many say the 997.1 can have bore scoring, oil leaks, and IMS issues. Do they?

Importance of Proper PPI on Porsche 997 is paramount. Most of the maintenance is done from underneath, so you really can’t kick it’s tires unless you’ve got a lift. Skipping the PPI because you think you’re getting a deal could cost you big.
